great idea, not well thought through.

Really upset with the applications functionality. I was expecting more from the app but there is hardly any options in the app. The only way you can see who is at your door is if the camera is triggered. Which means if you need to use your peephole, you physically have to pull the peeple off from the bracket. I have also found that the device lags and only gets triggered if the door opens. The fact that you can't configure the sensitivity of the people/motion detection really annoys me. Yeah the battery life may worsen if there are more options but the application developer should not hide these configurations as it limits the device. Also the quality isn't the greatest. This day and age it should be 1080. I don't know what resolution it is but it's not even 720. Especially for $170 au dollars. Another thing thats upsetting about the peeple is that it was recommended to install a monster peep hole which was included. The spacers provided are too small for the peep hole. I drilled a bigger hole in my door and then it was too late to use my original peephole. I had to modify the spacers for the monster peephole to fit and now I have to run a spacer at the front so it fits flush in the bracket. Really poor instructions. I would definitely not recommend this product to anyone. And I'm not finished yet. The device doesn't give you the option to download the video to a local network drive. You have no flexibility to choose where the video goes to. Come on, this is why it's so laggy because it takes ages to process the video. It would be much faster if you could choose a local network drive. This causes dead spots when people are at my door. 1/10 device. 1/10 for the application.

The thing appears to be designed to permit unkown third parties to perform remote surveillance on your door. All the door activated pictures and timestamps appear to be sent to a remote server(s). Its not necessary since the device has its own memory.
